At The Croft Pre-School we:

  • Provide high quality childcare and education below statutory school age
  • Work in partnership with parents to help children learn and develop
  • Add to the life and well being of the local community
  • Promote equality and value diversity

We aim to ensure that each child:

  • Is in a safe and stimulating environment
  • Is given generous care and attention, by maintaining a high ratio of qualified staff to children, with support from volunteer parent helpers
  • Has the chance to join with other children and adults to live, play, work and learn together
  • Is encouraged to learn and develop by building on what they know and can do
  • Has their own Key Person who ensures each child makes good progress
  • Sees parents as partners in helping them learn and develop

Parents

Parents are regarded as members of our pre-school, and are encouraged to shape the schools services. Parents have full participatory rights and are:

  • Valued and respected
  • Kept informed
  • Consulted
  • Involved, and included at all levels
