At The Croft Pre-School we:
- Provide high quality childcare and education below statutory school age
- Work in partnership with parents to help children learn and develop
- Add to the life and well being of the local community
- Promote equality and value diversity
We aim to ensure that each child:
- Is in a safe and stimulating environment
- Is given generous care and attention, by maintaining a high ratio of qualified
staff to children, with support from volunteer parent helpers
- Has the chance to join with other children and adults to live, play, work
and learn together
- Is encouraged to learn and develop by building on what they know and can
do
- Has their own Key Person who ensures each child makes good progress
- Sees parents as partners in helping them learn and develop
Parents
Parents are regarded as members of our pre-school, and are encouraged to shape
the schools services. Parents have full participatory rights and are:
- Valued and respected
- Kept informed
- Consulted
- Involved, and included at all levels
